JOIN OUR ALL-NEW PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR OF NEPAL
Nepal is without question one of the most visually captivating destinations on earth. Point a camera lens in any direction and you will likely capture a fascinating scene of daily life in the Himalayas.
On this vehicle-based journey we travel with Far Xplorer’s founder and professional photographer, Christophe Noel, to some of his favorite corners of Nepal. From the ancient streets of Kathmandu, to the quaint hamlets of the world’s biggest mountains, the variety and texture of Nepal’s people and landscapes are a photographer’s paradise.
Along the way, we will share tips for getting the best images possible. Our small group will gather each evening for delicious local meals as we revel in our photos from the day. For those interested in learning the fine art of photo editing, we will review the basics and dive into more advanced techniques as the days progress.
At trip’s end, each traveler will select their best shots to be published in their own hardbound photo book.
Photography is not just a means of recording our travels, it is a way to deepen our experiences in these beautiful and alluring places. Join us. Let us take you on a visual journey of Nepal and the Great Himalayas.

What Camera Do I Need?
It’s an old cliche, but the best camera is the one you have. That has become more true than ever with the advent of the modern phone camera. A phone from Apple, Samsung, or Google can take incredible, even magazine worthy images.
For this trip, the base requirement for photo equipment is little more than an upper end phone. If you want to bring your DSLR, point-and-shoot, or small mirrorless camera, we will adjust our tips and tricks to ensure you get the most of your equipment.
